This is an example of one of my Online Design Packages.

The design brief for this project was to create a children’s bedroom for a 4-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl. The room had previously been used as a home office and had not yet been designed as a child-focused space, so the client wanted it to better suit its new function.

The brief was for the room to be multifunctional, allowing space for both play and sleep. This meant creating a calm, safe, and inviting environment that supports creativity while also encouraging rest.

To explore the best use of the space, I produced 2D floor plans to visualise different furniture layout options. I then developed a chosen layout in 3D to allow for clearer understanding and visualisation of the design.

This approach allows the client to complete the room in their own time and at their own pace.

Client response:

“Oh Beth I LOVE the room design! Thank you so so much for doing it. We had thought about building in a wardrobe and I love the idea of the holes for the baskets. I think we’re going to start saving! x”
