I was approached via Instagram by a project management company specialising in home renovations, luxury bathrooms, and bespoke kitchens, who were seeking a design collaborator for a private residential client. My role was to lead the design phase, while the company managed procurement and installation.
The client had recently moved into her own terraced home and wanted to refresh the existing bathroom to better reflect her personal style. She was drawn to neutral tones and a calm, understated aesthetic.
In response to the brief, I developed three concept boards exploring subtle ways to introduce colour while maintaining a neutral palette. I also produced four layout sketches to test alternative configurations and improve the overall functionality of the space, ultimately concluding that the original layout offered the most effective solution.
Following a further design meeting to review tile samples and finalise key decisions—such as whether to retain the bath—I created a series of 3D visuals to clearly communicate the agreed design direction and demonstrate how the proposed layout and material choices would work together.
The final images show the completed bathroom, delivering a refined and timeless result aligned with the client’s preferences. The vanity unit drawers were installed at a later stage.
